...your manuscript. It might help to do a little more research and reading.
Perhaps you've already read: The Complete Handbook of Novel Writing by The Editors of Writer's Digest and taken their suggestions on plot, character, dialogue, voice, sensibility etc to produce a book-in-waiting. The next step is to source a publisher, and for that you'll need to become an expert in Query Letters. Writer's Digest ( a font of all knowledge for budding scriptivors) has put out their : Guide to Query Letters which addresses different types and formats for magazines, nonfiction, children's books besides novels (with easy to plagarize or tweak sample letters.)
If, after you've sent out a flood of queries to no response, you can always bi-pass traditional publishers and follow the instructions in : The Complete Guide to Self-Publishing by Marilyn Ross and Sue Collier; sage advice on marketing, e-publishing , free publicity etc etc.
Put on those reading glasses and get started !
