Any Publicity is Good Publicity Mar 2025

The London Writers Society to which I belong has released publicity for their new anthology Out of the Woods-- for which I am a contributor-- in the form of a page in the community newspaper. (There are maybe 5 such in the area and I believe all were targetted.) I think there will be advance notice on Facebook also of a local book fair coming up in April which I have committed to attend-- my first of that ilk. I sent (I hope )some constructive marketing advice re groups in the arts with decent membership to tap and a couple of other TV media sources. I'm not on the promo committee and unsure how well will be received at only a month to go, but 'nothing ventured'.... I was briefly profiled in the Community news article with both my nom de plume and regular name publicized, so for that I'm grateful to the effort. I'm still wanting my own domaine on the web, but until I see whether there is any real profit in what I'm doing (and these two items might help) will delay a little longer on that and subsequent advertising /promotion of my own work.
