Simmering Summer June 2024

My own collection of short stories on the back burner at the mo, as completing submission of a themed tale to an anthology to be published in 2025 by local writers' society. (I hope to publish my own collection in 2024). Not sure what the reception will be of this lone tall tale , but if it doesn't suit their 'vision' and fly locally, it will be included in my own effort where it will :) I can say however, that I wrestled with a locked-room plot (every mystery writer has to do at least one in this life ) and might have one more story to 'build from scratch' before I begin the final editing of the individual components and set up of the whole. Contending with scorching summer heat and searing arthritis at the same time -- but pushing on nevertheless. Will I meet all my deadlines ... TBA
