I'm talking teeth here. Most youth lose their wisdom teeth early. I lost 3 at one blow when young but the

last one , due to a hook or bone calcification (spur) was left in place for decades...until

recently, Jan 27 to be exact. I made the mistake of agreeing to have it removed. That sucker could have stood in for the 'Sword in the Stone'. Have you ever had 3 professionals in your mouth at one time -- for at least an hour :) I have and I don't recommend it . The result of a difficult extraction in later life was Dry Socket and about a month's recovery on going i.e. a lot of icepacking, some antibiotics, heat on the jaw, swishing with salt , water , and lemon etc etc. No fun-- and consequently not much work being done .

The third book in the Alaerton Alumni series was begun end of last summer , and what with various interruptions, little writing and a bit of jelling only proceeding until now. Hopefully, if all my Wisdom didn't exit with the last of my Wisdom teeth, that 's back on the agenda .
