No, not a reference to a 90's docufilm on losing weight. I've run into this problem a few times now on KDP, about font size for print . They say it has to be more than 7 sized font , but when creating images for 5x8 trim book, even when use larger fonts like 10-12, have to resize to fit the page , including 300 DPI. I run into this problem every time (so if anyone has better solutions for clear images, I'm all ears) and usually go the route: m WORD>PDF>JPEG and then re-size in pixels and then in DPI. It's usually something of an ordeal (I admit to be self-taught from articles on the web) but even so, twice I've had KDP advise me to go back to the drawing table as images might be slightly blurry. I'm darned if I know why some of my images turn out just fine and others, despite same bigger fonts, in the resizing , don't turn out as well. Suggestions welcome for future endeavours as I don't seem to be able to exclude a map at least , of some sort , to detail the locations of the action in the novel and I don't actually want to forgo the nuisance of the resizing as I feel these images are integral to the plot and to inform the reader. Best advice : Keep Calm and Carry On!
