Trying to recover EVERYTHING on my horrible SEAGATE THIN (drive corrupted). Suggest stick to memory sticks , easier to store and use , from now on . The hard drives are too delicate -- they seem to stop running at the drop of a hat , and being expensive, not worth it .

So, despite heat wave on heat wave (ridiculously little beach time it turns out) which knocks me prostrate , have been trying to recover all my important data myself . If I'm not successful, will have to try other (more expensive ) means . TBA

The jitters also come because we are half way through summer and I've hardly done a blasted thing on the new book and still stuck on paginating (and making corresponding spatial changes) to the 2nd book.

Also, my dishwasher died. Can things get any worse? Stay tuned ....
