Although my e-book had been published in December, I wanted to see how the Images fared that I 'd entered into the content . There was a Map of Locations (where the story took place) and a picture of the front and back of a locket that features heavily in the story-- images built up from scratch . The problem I find with e-books is embedding the image so it stays where it's supposed so, and including any associated text. Despite the way it looks in Kindle Create, if you have two images on the same page in the MS file , it ends up with one on one page and the other , on another , or half and half etc. Very frustrating and requires a lot of tweaking I've found, then having to preview in the various screen forms to see how they are displayed. However , once you've got the hang of the e-book format , you can sort of guess at the placement of your images i.e. Maybe you need to insert a few lines down, which in a paperback would look distinctly odd, but in the e-book's capture of imagery seems to work. Definitely have to play at it until you are satisfied, and then you can SAVE and hope it stays in place.
