Cover art upload on KDP is fairly easy as long as you've sized your images correctly. It's fun though to try different colours for the background especially, but keep to about 3 colours or so if possible. Last one I did in Black, grey , with a pop of fuscia to designate the feminine side of the book. This time, I've opted for a bold Yellow--- it will stand out on the shelves , begging a reader to pick it up. Perhaps, in this time of Covid, that colour choice says something. Whatever the reason for my preference, I like it . Some , if writing a series, might want to keep all their covers alike. I myself like variety, and have chosen the path of a different colour for each one that comes along . You'll just have to check them out yourselves to see the 'spectrum'.... :)
