Too bad it's not cholera--that we could treat quickly and effectively.
In this period of self- isolation, there are a lot of people apparently bingeing on TV serials, Marvel Movies and the like --I'm not exactly sure whether people are buying books in droves to the same degree (certainly not mine ). With the libraries and bookstores shut down , reading addicts might be turning more to Gutenberg Press. Org for the downloading of free books. I myself opted for that choice , wanting to reread a few from early years to see how they stood up under an older and more adult perception. Amazon may or may not have reports on general numbers of books sold at this time-- it will be interesting to see if when people had all the time in the world, did they read?
