I know, I know -- I'm breaking my own rule of writing only from November to April, but funnily enough , when you've got so much time on your hands --like we all do with the Covid-19 crisis--it doesn't necessarily mean inspiration and motivation are along for the ride, certainly not in my case . Instead, I'm looking at all sorts of house and art and cooking projects to initiate or finish up --- nothing related to cozy mysteries that's for sure . Perhaps that's because at the moment , we're living one . We haven't a 'clue' when life will get back to normal personally and the health crisis itself. Uncertainty is taking a mental toll as we all hunch down in our living spaces , distancing ourselves from family, friends, our goals, our potential... How long we can keep this up is anybody's guess, but me , I will take advantage and engage my mind in other pursuits for a change . That's all one can do at the moment .
