Cherchez la femme...?

Not really. Just got your attention. I'm actually talking about RESEARCH here . The 'road to hell is paved with good intentions' and so is the urge to ' Re-search' ad nauseum. Best advice , as you skip from one internet site to another--- jotting down myriad cursive notes , creating files on your desktop, and bookmarking sites --- wear a personal safety flotation device , because man, you can drown in all that information, and never find the one piece you need afterwards.

Don't keep whole articles-- keep one document page and cut and paste a line or image or quote and try not to go beyond that one page ; if you do, winnow it down again. Remember , you can certainly search (and search, and search, and search ) for relevant information until the femmes come home, but trust me, you won't need 3/4's of it in your book, and it will only become a 'frustration factor' when indecision makes you wonder what and howmuch to insert in your story line..
