Yes, I meant to Kindle-ize my book the beginning of November for the Christmas Market, and yes , still I have not done so. Why? Nothing is ever as easy as it seems, and even I get bogged in article info and research. First I read all the pros and cons of Amazon/Kindle publication. Then I discovered that you really should have your manuscript in e-format before you upload to Kindle. Soon, I found out that images should not be in PDF, PRN form etc , but best in JPG. Consequently, because some of my images were in PDF format and I didn't think I had the conversion on my basic WORD to convert back to that, I spent a long time downloading various 'free' conversion programs (supposedly, but a lot it turned out were free only with a 30 day trial) which I ended up deleting as didn't want to be on the hook. Some of the conversion programs to e-format are quite complicated and rather daunting.
But now I've reached the point where I'm just going to take a copy of my original MS and see what happens in the conversion. I'll let you know ....
