Shooting Blanks...

....I mean 'drawing a blank'. Yes, it happens to the best of us but don't angst over it unless there's a deadline looming. Best to walk away---literally. Go for a therapeutic walk and do some Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing). The fresh air and a zap of greenery will often clear the cranial cobwebs and might even allow those errant thoughts of yours to coalesce.

If that doesn't work, find something constructive to do , so your time isn't completely wasted : do home works , cooking, an art project . A different mindset is allowing your brain to rest from the original concentrative effort. You'll be surprised that quite often it is a truism , though done to death in a myriad of sappy movies: 'If you love something set it free. If it comes back it's yours and meant to be'.
