That's your competition on Amazon, if not more . Just something to keep in mind, especially if you don't want to buy their advertising after publishing, and still not have much of a run. If you 've allowed KDP Select, members of same can read your work for nothing, but at least it gets out there, and perhaps someone will end up getting it as a gift from the reader.
One has to just hope occasionally someone will stumble on the Magnus Opus. OR, you can try one of the twitter pitches that have become popular (and I don't mean Donald Trump's). These are 'events' on twitter where you pitch your book in a certain number of characters to supposedly, the interest of agents and publishers. If they like your piece, apparently they'll get in touch. However, as with anything , beware of scams .
